Eternity Forever just expands on the funky aspects of this stuff I feel like. I love it.

Yea it was a little strange to hear his voice at first, but it grew on me hard. I'm glad Kurt found another band to be in after that whole A Lot Like Birds debauchery

I still find it hilarious that Mess basically said in an interview that they had to get rid of Mess because he was smoking 2 packs a day

He must've trained in the mountains with a guru in his time off because he came back as a monster (well not in DBM2, but afterwards)

**they got rid of kurt because he was smoking two packs a day and wanted to sing in a higher register

So instead of a smoker they went for a heroin addict, bold choice

They went back to what they thought the people would want, and they weren't really wrong. Plus, they were supposed to break up after Jonny rejoined to do DBM2. I wasn't really a matter of choice in the sense of keeping it going, but how they wanted to end it. It just didn't turn out like they expected, which despite all the drama, probably makes them pretty happy considering where they are now.

@TheSpirit, I'm glad you caught me and understood what I meant! I accidentally said mess!

Yea I remember them saying that they were gonna call it quits either before or after DBM2, and I'm really glad they didn't

If they did then a lot of my favorites wouldn't have been made

Yeah, pretty neat that they hit their stride finally and solidified with Tillian. Tbh though, I thought DGD was dead after I first heard AS. I hated it and I still am not a very big fan of it. IG and Now Mothership have me fully back on board now though.

Other than a few tracks I used to dislike AS, but it grew on me over the years and now I like it a lot. IG was fantastic, as was Mothership (although not nearly as good as IG imo)

Hmmmm I wanna say Mothership might be a notch above IG imo, but they are pretty equal. BUT, I think The Jiggler on the Tree City Sessions is amazing and sounds kinda like a Times New Roman 2. I think it was the AS production that ruined it for me, the transition between Mess and Tillian parts was all over the place and not smooth at all.

Yea the production for AS is wack, don't know why they switched producers for it

No way, the Jiggler is AWESOME on AS and it's so lackluster without all the backing vocals and atmospheric elements on TCS.

Hmmm, maybe I need to give AS a few more listens now that I actually like Tillian
