Hands down, the best release of 2009.

This is good, but not as good as their self titled. No song on here is on the same level as Hot Water on Wool, Alex English, Me and Zoloft Get Along Just Fine, or Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most.

My friend was playing this in his car about a month ago. It sounded like a weak imitation of Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest by As Cities Burn at its high points, and like absolute shit at it's low points.

The vocals are really bad, I don't know what you guys are smoking.

Some of the guitars in very small portions of one of the first songs.

Is that specific enough?

okay, so idk why this review didn't mention some of the amazing bass lines. There is a HUGE difference between eric lodge's bass playing and jason ellis's. songs like nasa show some amazing proficiency. but otherwise great review

This brings up the fact that this is really the first album by DGD that honestly has an RNB feel to it. I always thought them calling themselves rnb was retarded but this album has some big RNB influences (particularly old school RNB). Tree village really stands out as a song that doesn't belong on the album IMO.

this album is definitely a step up from their self-titled and its a good thing that the old screamer left because their new direction is much more alt-indie sounding with elements of every genre imaginable

Given this four more listens, S/t is still better than this.

I think Wills screams are honestly better than Mess's (doesn't know grammar lol) screams.

I have to say this is my favorite DGD album to date.

Best by DGD to date. They really hit it out of the park this time. There's not one song I don't like on here and thank you Kurt for providing a more realistic breakup song for once (strawberry swisher pt. 2)
