I would typically be impressed by the idea of them exploring ambience...though I guess it's not so great on this album. Definitely eager to check this out none the less as I enjoyed Hellfire quite a bit and the album before it..

I didn't mean it like that man, your comment made me laugh, literally. It was fucking hilarious. Would read it again.

I was referring to the pink floyd cover in that comment

Hellifre and Beyond The Apocalypse were great, I really hope you just had a bad day writing this.

How? This album is nothing like them. Not even slightly. Read the review.

This album is not as bad as we all believe.. does anybody here listens to Earth, Sunn O))), Boris.... -all classics and critically acclaimed worldwide-? This album is soaked with those influences! Heavy drone, sludge or ambient sounds are not that common in black metal, that's true.. but that doesn't mean that a band can't explore their creativity on those fields.. this is not a great album anyway, and blackmetalheads are not known for openmidedness precisely.. so IMHO: Intended to a different audience.

Cheers everyone

This album being terrible has nothing to do with the fact that it isn't really black metal, it had to do with the fact that it's terrible.

This album really isn't that bad. Not great by any means, but not that bad. Some of the ambient stuff was a little goofy, but some of it was kinda cool and very EVIL.

"Maggot Fetus... Teeth Like Horns" must be one of the worst song titles ever. I didn't listen to the album so I can't judge, but I won't be able to think of that title without chuckling. Nice review too.

Because they were never (unfairly) aligned with nazi sympathies? I'm not saying it's valid, just that it's the case.
