CALEB, THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR SECRET. Fag. Now we can't fuck with people. Oh well. Anyways, this is starting to grow on me a bit. Pretty good so far.

AtavanHalen, why don't you explain why Crisis is so much better than Watch Out!. Since you seem so sure it is.

All you gotta do is understand Davids mantra. Crap albums = good, good albums = crap

Edit: Although he does like Bloc Party so fair play to him. This Message Edited On 05.18.09

I changed my mind about this album after giving it a full listen, it is pretty amazing. It depresses me though that I would have loved this more if I had heard it around three years ago when I was new to Alexisonfire.

Ah, I'm glad to hear it. Actually, my first Alexisonfire album was Crisis, and this still has a bigger impact on me.

AtavanHalen, why don't you explain why Crisis is so much better than Watch Out!. Since you seem so sure it is.

Sure.
George's vocals have matured completely from the inconsistent and occasionally pretty irritating styles of the first two records. The production is top-notch. The songwriting has never been better, given the consistent theme throughout the record holding its concept together. This album also features the best songs the band have ever done - Watch Out! may have had Accidents and No Transitory, but Crisis has This Could Be Anywhere in the World, We Are The Sound/End, Boiled Frogs, Keep It On Wax and Rough Hands.
Crisis is much more consistent, much more interesting, far more passionate and really well put together. Watch Out! is great, but it has gaping flaws that stop it from being as good as Crisis.
There.
Oh, and
All you gotta do is understand Davids mantra. Crap albums = good, good albums = crap

Lick my cunt.

Those are all great points except for the one when you said that this is worse than Crisis.

Keep It On Wax rules. I'll be reviewing Crisis soon.

Yeah, it'd be handy if there was a way to monitor what you've commented on.
