How about the title track?
I figured you would.

hey zipper, I sent all these Ventana songs to you're e-mail so that's done. And for the record imo it doesn't really matter if you are 15 or 18 or 21. You can still have good music tastes and a big knowledge about music, regardless of your age.

good edits, happy to give you a vote now! How do you edit your stuff and write reviews so quickly? When I write a review, it'll last about 3-4 hours. Darn it!

Well first of all, English is my first language so its a bit easier. I don't know, I guess I just have a thing with writing.
Alright, Ventana is now sitting happily in my library, yesssss.
|

yeah right, I forgot that little detail about english being your first language lol. I also have a thing with writing, people say I am a good writer overall, not only makeing music reviews. But yeah i love to write reviews here in Sputnik
Glad you like that Ventana album, now there is one person more who has heard of these guys/likes them.

oh yeah btw if you think Ventana is great, then you must be gay if you don't check out Crossbreed - New Slave Nation. Crossbreed is also an industrial band, but is even better than Ventana. I have written a review for that album if you are interested.

I had a feeling that this was World War I.
Time for you all to learn Canadian history, especially during WWI and WWII.
Also, I never remember Arch Enemy ever doing anything in referal to war, as much as this does.
If you count Rise of the Tyrant as a reference to war, I do believe that album was coated with cliche war anthems that a million other bands have done to death in the past.

What's war metal?
|

Album Rating: 4.5
War metal is just a particularly heavy type of metal that uses a lot of really really really heavy riffs, marching snares, battlefield backdrops, and war centered lyrics. Warzone, Hail of Bullets, this band etc. This Message Edited On 04.26.09

No it is not. The only difference between war metal and metal are the lyrical themes. Thats all.
"hey guys WE WERE THERE"
Thanks Mike!

Just to help you out Zipper, Passiondale was one of the key turning points during WWI. The Canadians eventually won the battle, but payed a steep price in soldier casualties. This Message Edited On 04.27.09

After buying this album a couple days back and reading over the lyrics, this review needs to seriously be re-adjusted or simply deleted for failure to recognize what this album is trying to get at. Sorry Zipper, I mean this as constructive criticism.
Really, really liking this record alot, mostly for the concept.
