fence sitting is not ok and i might have to bump, UGH
am thoroughly ashamed by how much the lolwat flashback episode in the she and i were mercenaries in japan / ... / we were high profile killers, no bullshit bridge in Geneva gets me
first 2 mins of Nola and final 2 of the closer might be this band's finest. alb as a whole most cert is not, but idk if their later concepts nail anything quite as cutting as the sheer ridiculousness of half the subject matter here traded against that rough-ass autobiographical stream either side. if one doesn't get you, the other will catch you off guard. or something. good album?

fair shits to him lol
it's cute when artists have bad taste in their own music, but i prefer it when they don't ;]
|
| |
Wait lemme correct myself, Time in Heaven is his favorite song he's written
He did single out Nola and Geneva too tho

um yeah, you can basically treat this as their debut album and do everything onwards, then skip back at your leisure

i don't think this is a bad place to start, especially considering this is their first of their current bluesy style. Do note that they developed this sound (and in my opinion improved) on later records.
