Dope - No regrets. Just got it about 2 hours ago. So far I absolutely love it. Going to review it in about 2-3 days. Think i'm really going to enjoy writing this since Dope's previous albums are not very loved in here but this is so different and totally slays.
You writing anything new any time soon?
I never really looked too heavily into Nasum, but I will now. Nice job
awesome will be keeping an eye out
ariel pink's haunted graffiti - the doldrums is up next
I'll be sure to keep an eye on that also. BTW what kind of a band is it?
psychedelic indie folk kind of
joshuatree reviewed a more recent album of theirs i think
this rapes my face.
well probably not my cup of tea, but I shall read the review anyway and if I find it interesting(like this one here, going to download it after I have filled my musical need for Dope) then I'll check it out.
most people who's cup of tea it is don't even like it so :-/
i however love it aha
Going by your review Kane, I think this could be the worst thing I ever hear… That is, if I happen to wander past someone listening to the album.
I've never been a fan of the genre and think this band in particular are kind of noise, but I won't say they're bad because they're part of a genre I don't like anyway. Good review though.
Digging: Testament - The Brotherhood of the Snake
Album Rating: 4.5
Did you just say this was noise? As far as grind goes, this is chock full of memorable melodies and hooks. That's what makes it so incredible.
I can't say what album I heard, apparently not this one if you're saying it's full of memorable melodies and hooks.
Album Rating: 4.5
Nasum is a relatively melodic band as far as grind goes anyways. I think this warrants a second look. Are you sure you didnt hear Noism or something and get disoriented?
Well, shit. I very well could have heard Noism because that sounds familiar too. The only grind band I've ever really enjoyed is the debut from Disharmonic Orchestra. I'll give this a second (possibly first) look though.
Nasum is a relatively melodic band as far as grind goes anyways.
this is true. i went way ott with the whole this is really inaccessible etc in the review
yeah this is like super melodic when it comes to grind.
Even my nan listens to this kind of grind
