After about a year of trying I can finally hit 90% of the vocals in Immerse spot on. Now to try the rest of the album. That rapid-fire and doubletracking thing they got going on is jismtastic.

BoO isn't in the same league as these guys if you ask me. It's a lot more original.

butkuiss, thats awesome, should do a youtube cover. i could never even come close to getting these type of vocals down. but yeah, this album is definitely underrated. age of deception is a monster of a song. every single riff is 10/10

Bah, I'm so out of practice lately. Haven't had a chance to lay down some skramz in a month or so. But seriously, I'd record if I had a dece mic, but its just the camera mic. Sadface.

The band was going to do a reunion tour but couldn't generate enough interest.

shame. I would have tried to go and see that.

'Tear down the barricade, we're the only ones that can make this change... Fuck It up!'

They win at dual screaming. Anyone care to rec some more dual vocal carnage if that's permitted? I cba to make a list.

I very nearly said anyone who mentions Sikth!"!"% I didn't deal with the random stupid / random feel
they had going? I've been enjoying Vildhjarta (not sure I've rated it yet), I have listened to some
things by Monuments but I'll give them another spin tomorrow.

Cheers for the recs dude.

These guys sound identical to Tesseract on their demo that was released the same year. Vildhjarta sounds the same too. These guys all have the same clean and distorted tones...weird shit.

dude.

You talking about the guitar tones? Because aside from that if your saying they sound the same you need a re-listen.

naw fellsilent sounds different, their cleans are way better than vildjharta. plus vildjharta's distorted are way more thall than this. their tones are different trust me even though i usually avoid djent i play guitar enough to know. i know what you mean though, they are all going for that certain djent tone though.

I'm solely speaking about the guitar tones. The untrained ear wouldn't be able to pick apart all 3 bands anyway.

The untrained ear would think every band with unclean vocals sounds the same.
