My guess would be image. Kids listen to what the media says is cool, like MTV.
In a way MTV has ruined the music industry.

Yeah, you're totally spot-on. That was also the root of the whole Glam/Hair metal scene. People were paying to see a show instead of listening to the music, and that just threw the whole "quality" thing out the window.

on a side note: you sound like a philosopher, your explanations to questions are deep and rooted, you're one hell of a guy. do you work in the music industry or anything? you'd be one of the few smart ones there

I am 16 and I go to Secondary School (High School)
haha

I'd love to get into the music industry though.
I am not a musician personally but I would love to produce.

Got this one for Christmas, I'm enjoying it very much.
I still am not tired of the outro for City in The Sky! It flows so well, I love it.

does anybody else feel that this is like BTBAM without the -core and the heavy riffs?

It is a seriously a good album and I'm glad you're finally checking it out. There are times when it gets a little faster and heavier, but a lot of the time it gets all melodic. I find BTBAM's more melodic passages to be the more enjoyable part of their music.

I know what you mean bodom, it is great but I feel that they can do a little better. 4.1/5 would probably be the best I could give this.
