its like you read my mind.

we even name dropped the same bands lol
dashboard confessional isn't any closer to saves the day than circle takes the square is, Zissou. Are you saying that circle takes the square is pop punk? did you even think about what you just wrote before you wrote it? You're attempting to be an authority of the roots of emo and you can't even mention Rites of Spring or Texas is the Reason?

You're also focusing on the wrong part of this argument, the debate about what emo is, when the real point is that whether you're trying to label this album "indie" or "prog rock" or wtf ever, however you spin it, it's bloody awful, and adds absolutely nothing to this world

right fuck you, you little fucking piece of fuck
wtf is your problem? the only 'argument' here is you claimed this was emo to which both myself and redsky corrected you. we both name dropped a few bands commonly mislabeled as emo - neither of us said Dashboard sounds like saves the day particularly.
You're a bit of an idiot really - first you accuse me of defending the album when I never did anything remotely of the sort then come back with this slightly confused response to someone trying to help you.

gaslight anthems go read a boook if you think Circle is "real emo". Dig a bit further back than 5 years ago, buddy. Zissou, how many times did you have to edit that comment before you had convinced yourself that you had something clever to say?

ya cos i totally don't listen to any emo bands from outside the last 5 years - i'm not gonna just namedrop every single one. although i mentioned orchid who i'm pretty sure formed at least 10 years ago.

hey Zissou, if all your favorite band's t shirts can be found at hot topic, you might just be a douchbag and shouldn't be part of a music discussion anyways

"petty insults" or just a touch more colorful than "go fuck yourself you fucking piece of shit" as you so eloquently said? This Message Edited On 02.24.09

You're ignoring the actual argument because you're so wrong.

Great review. The Dear Hunter is good at creating an atmosphere within their music if anything.
