I have to say that I have listened to this 6 times through whilst driving through London and it is fantastic! Easily their best yet!

Allmusic's review of this uses the word "screamo" a grand total of nine times. This review is much better, I might check this out.

Yeah, AMG's review really annoyed me. Their review for Full Collapse is a crime.

This isn't your older brother's Thursday
haha
almost as defiantly as “Jet Black New Year.” They could only wish.
song doesn't get enough credit. good call.

Allmusic suck in general. They get old men who like Eric Clapton etc to review modern music. (Not hating on Clapton, but come on, no 58 year old man is going to appreciate Thursday).

If I like post-hardcore in the vein of The Fall of Troy and ATD-I but generally hate whininess, would I like this album or band in general?

when doing full collapse they should have just kept writing and never stopped so as to keep the chemistry flowing for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever

This album is such a surprise.

"Last Call" and "You Were the Cancer" are possibly their strongest songs to date from a lyrical standpoint.

Phh, I never got into Full Collapse. Sounded like normal ol' post-hardcore. Exactly like every other album by every other artist.
