Dunno Billy. Maybe in the evening, but a hot northerly at the beach isn't exactly my thing either.

Ross, it's been about 30 degrees (85F) for the past week and while that is quite hot, it has seemed nice compared to the week before. Tomorrow/Today (as it is almost midnight as I type this) looks to be a one-off, with temperatures cooling down finally as of Sunday.

Bluesy alt-rock doesn't really sound like my thang Billy, but if there's catchy hooks to be had, then it's a chance.

Kane, you are once more the master of being the CENTER of attention!

Will do Billy... Just can't promise when as I'm guessing my computer will struggle to stay on as the day heats up.

Oh my goodness, I've found Kane's secret identity. After that comment, it is clear that he really is..... Robbie Williams!

Great review - This sounds like exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for recently, and you recommended I wait 'til you reviewed this album. I can see myself liking this, so I'll be checking it out soon.

30 degrees wow. I wish it was that hot in Canada. I think were at about -21 at the moment.

Ahhh, there is the infamous hip-hop review you are working on Ross. As we have both agreed upon already, they are not easy to write. Continued good luck.

You gave it away with that last comment Kane. All the metal/indie/hardcore loving was simply a well thought out smokescreen!

Thanks Spamue1. I'm crossing my fingers that I have not led you astray with this album. Obviously, let us know what you think when you give it a listen.

MisterBeefy; 30 degrees is grea. I am typing this at midday & it's 42 degrees... NOT GREAT!

Croc, I'm glad to see you comment... It must mean you're fine. Seriously, that is some scary $hit that's been happening out your way mate. Take care.

I cannot believe TODAY WAS THE HOTTEST DAY IN MELBOURNE EVER!!! It got to around 46.5. For you northern hemispher'ites, I think that's about 115-118.

Yeah today was horrible. 5 hours on trolleys on the hottest day ever!, only to go home and be surrounded by fire. Went to a pool party for a few hours though

but yeah, way too close for comfort, luckily the wind has blown it all away from where I live...but still this area has never seen anything like this ever. We could see the fire over the hills, but lucky we didn't have to evacuate or anything too serious. This Message Edited On 02.07.09This Message Edited On 02.07.09

Yeah Croc, thank goodness that the cool change (& wind change) came when it did. I mean, it's not as if you're that far away from the outer metropolitan areas.

I can't believe you had to work on a day like that... especially outdoors! You deserved to get lucky at the pool party after all that. Haha!

Ahhh, another happy Birds Of Tokyo customer in JingleDeath. I hope the rest of the album does not let you down.

haha I wish!
It's still sad though, even though its far away and blown away from our area, It's still going towards other towns and populated places
