so yeah I got the new ep and it's definitely better than this. 4 new tracks (excluding the intro track) and an even cooler version of Clocks. oh my god I think I'm in love.

isn't this the band who used to have Anthony James aka the electric bloodbath aka bridges of war as the singer?

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of being in the band?

He probably was in the band before they recorded stuff and helped to write songs/performed live.

But I've been asleep so idk

Unsuprisingly, my hot topic was sponsoring this band locally, with shirts and CD's and all, too bad I passed all of this and a 6 dollar Behemoth t-shirt for a 40 dollar pair of compression shorts.

I guess i'll have to get more involved with my local music scene more. Probaly not though, i'm too dark and brutal. She is smoking however.

Kane, I said I'd be back when I gave this EP a good listen & here I am. Umm, yeah, so your review was spot on. Nothing more to add really.

It is impossible not to compare VersaEmerge to Paramore, as singer Sierra Kusterbeck sounds similar to Hayley Williams & both bands play guitar-driven pop-punk. If anything, the 18 minute 'Perceptions' EP suggests that VersaEmerge have the musical edge, especially when it comes to highlight 'In Pursuing Design', which contains dreamy melodic guitar with attention-getting drums that give away their post-hardcore past. Meanwhile, 'Consider The Sea' shows off the band's impressive pop sensibilities. The only apparent downfall is when the pace is slowed on the average 'Clocks' and 3 short & unnecessary interludes. Recommended Tracks: In Pursuing Design & Consider The Sea.
