I read this review, skimmed over some comments, and then headed out to meet a freind at StarBucks. On the way, I decided to pop in Tell All Your Friends (which, truth be told, I just got a few weeks ago - long after I got Louder Now) and I really enjoyed it. Matt L. had a great voice for the lyrics in those songs - great application. I enjoyed the lack of production as well. I don't know who the backup singer on this record is, but he's got a pretty solid voice - at least for a backup.
I like!

Just to comment on the whole religion thing...
The Bible defines religion as the unadulterated care and protection of widows and orphans. Going to church and handing around the offering plate are people's idea of religion - not the Jewish/Christian God's.
