giving a brokencyde album a 3.5 is worse than 5-ing it, because it means that you really liked it, but not that much.

I had my dad listen to it, and he's all like "JUDAS PRIEST ARE GOD I'D SLEEP WITH ALL OF THEM," but he was like "I hate the whole drone-age bs and i'm not a fan of the modulating pitch warbles, but the textures and the chord changes are brilliant."

He was pissed that I had a 13:23 long track though, so I was like godai

I don't think so - I'm pretty sure he likes the technical merit, but the concept isn't really his cup of tea.
