I remember thinking that the intro from this is a hardcore ripoff of Funkadelic's "Maggot Brain" but I also remember not really caring that much because it rules hard.

yeah I think I read somewhere that he stayed up all night listening to maggot brain on repeat and then recorded before the beginning as a tribute/homage or whatever
