This is a perfect album. Great review. Oh, and both the Clash and Ramones are great, I'm not comparing them.

I love the metallic squeels during the chord changes in "Teenage Lobotomy", and "Do You Wanna Dance?" is just awesome power-pop.

Well the reason punk became popular is because it was easy and sounded fun to play and kind to the ear. Ramones are awesome because they invented the box powerchord punk formation. Solo's would've ruined the song. A few small licks like in the soundtrack version of Rock n' Roll high school would be nice. They in no way suck. Oh, and if you can play all of Loco Live, at the same speed, with all downpicked 8th notes i'll give you a shiny new plectrum. If not you get the chair.

also the clash didnt really have what it takes to stay together cuz they broke up in 83(i think).
