Solid review Dave. To be honest, I had a little trouble getting fully into it since the Summary immediately insinuated that you believe 'IOHigh' to be their benchmark & I disagree with that.
Unless it is a quote, you have a small grammtical error with "it was a economic decision."
I have yet to hear this album to comment on it myself, but will do so shortly.

tracklist doesn't have a 9.

What he meant to say was, tracklist doesn't have a 9, FIX IT!

LOL at disappointment of reviewer over lack of earth shattering hip hop cameos

Less cameos would have done this album some good, Elvis Costello sounds pretty dreadful, IMO, Patrick shows him up on that track.

Just like how unnecessary jay z's intro on

IOH was

Listening now for the first time, so far I rteally like What A Catch, Donnie and Tiffany Blews, a lot better than I expected...I'm really not sure what my favourtie album by FOB is they're all pretty decent

The fast paste of the record sold me on it and, as is with all FOB's music, the lyrics were pretty clever.

lol clever lyrics & FOB

infinity is my fave from these guys still

I really like this, but I have to agree with some of the others that Infinity is their best.

I don't really think Infinity is better, I think it's just as good.

It's just so hard to tell because I have listened to Infinity for ages and then just got this.IMO, some of the best tracks are right at the end Patrick Stump and Brendon Urie make a perfect match on 20 dollar nosebleed. W.A.M.S is awesome too

I love the album.. Most mature but not the most unique- Does anyone hear Baba O'Riley by The Who in Disloyal Order of Water Buffalos?

the second half of this album isn't nearly as good as the first half.

Yeah, in response to cmb248, I do.

I think those are almost the same chords The Who used after the synthesizer intro.

nothing about this album excited me in any way. i'm sure some of the songs sounded good while recording, but the album is killed with over-production. LOVE the album art though. This Message Edited On 01.03.09
