any one else get a protest the hero meets fall out boy vibe out of this?

I could not have said it better myself. thats exactly the vibe I got out of it. I mean, throughout the whole E.P. the singer just hits the same damn notes. It gets on my nerves to no end. The instrumentation isn't bad but I would still say that protest has way better riffage. I still can't believe this band thought that they would get anywhere with that horrible fucking vocalist. Although the music is good, the dude just butchers any chances of people liking it. And also i can hear that shitty auto-tune on his voice

Yeah, that vibe describes this pretty well. I should like something like this, but I don't.

they will get a new singer for the next album or whatever if they are smart, but they are probly just trying to get into a bunch of scene chicks' pants by getting the whiniest vocalist they could find and turning him up too loud

These guys have a new song up now. Only listened to it once so I'm not too sure what to make of it.

Just checked it out, and although it sounds better and much more mature than this, I still find it average at most. I don't think it's a song I can enjoy over and over again.

Yeah, I'd check it out. I like this a lot, even with all the stuff other people hate about it. And although that track didn't sound too bad, I watched their studio videos and I heard a shit load of autotune and production. I think Joey Sturgis is doing this, so watch out for that.

Also, Bloc did you check out Feed Her to the Sharks yet? And WhiteWall if you haven't heard of them I'd check them out because you might like them too.

I think Joey Sturgis is doing this

First thought that came into my head when I listened.

Yeah 323 I heard Sharks, they weren't too bad actually. I was listening and then when a guitar solo came I was like WHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA? Haha, I usually don't hear those very often.

Haha 323 what the hell? But yeah, they do a lot of stuff that's outside of the box like that. And they still keep all the bad ass breakdowns and the like. I like to think I listen to better stuff than just generic metalcore haha. And if I reccomend a band to someone, I actually think they're good.

Have you listened to their new album? It's not much different, but I like it a lot more.
