Its not bad, but its nowhere near their best.

Sad?! Why?i've heard a bit of nemesis divina and own the norwegian version of the shadowthrhone. As i said , im not much of an TNBM fan. Maybe that could be true if i were 17 or smth, cause that was the time when i was more "metalhead", but now old stuff is not my cup of tea, nowadays i found myself more interested in the new mayhem, the new enslaved (i love vertebrae) and stuff like that. Just my choice, and i really think that volcano is a better overall album than, lets say , the shadowthrone. that one feels too amateur for me (great atmosphere though). I'm kinda new to the BM stuff, but its not like i started listening to metal yesterday.

About it being slower...it feels faster, honestly. I mean, there are a lot of slower tempo songs but the faster songs are a hell of a lot faster than anything on Now Diabolical?..

I never listened to these guys till recently. But i love this album, especially Commando. From the sound of it i wouldn't like their older stuff but this is awesome.
