Album is awesome.
covered Silencer recently, it's almost impossible to replicate the emotion in his voice

im glad i found one album i like by these guys. i could comfortably give this a 3.5 maybe a 4
this interests me more vocally than the others, and the more straight forward string pluckin anda drum tippa-tapping

True, but when are Aaron Weiss's lyrics not amazing. Like never.

Whenever my linear algebra lecturer asks what the vector A -> B is I can't help but answer "LIFE" in my head every time.

This album is amazing. Are their other albums similar to this?

They've gotten progressively less aggressive, but they are definitely all amazing. If you especially like this one then you'd probably like Catch For Us The Foxes a lot too. Brother, Sister is probably the most accessible and generally regarded as their best.

Yeah, that's actually the one (Brother, Sister) I wanted to hear first since that's what I've been recommended a while ago, but Spotify didn't have it, so I figured I'd just listen to their debut instead. Heard it 4 or 5 times now, it's quite spectacular.

And thanks for the rec!

I don't dare listen to the next album. It can't be as good as this.

"She put on happiness like a loose dress, over pain I'll never know". The fucking impact.

I can't remember the color of her eyes, JUST THE SHAPE OF HER DRESS
