Way too long, certainly too grandiose and very much loses itself in the flurry of excessive symphonic material. But this has always been COF's weakpoint anyway. The guitar work is stellar for me, and the concept is brought about in a very good way indeed, which has always been COF's highpoint.

I haven't listened to this album, but I liked their original albums through Midian. And there is nothing wrong with having a long album. Look at Tool.
