Well your best bet it to check out The Microphones - The Glow Pt.2. It's the same guy as Mount Eerie, just a different moniker. Lost Wisdom sounds more like something he would have done with The Microphones than Mount Eerie. It's more acoustic for the most part. His songwriting is a lot more abstract and for lack of a better word ambient than Elliott Smith but I think you'd dig this stuff. I'm really a big fan of later Mount Eerie, like Winds Poem, Clear Moon, and Ocean Roar but those albums are much different than this.
