Honestly found myself very disappointed with this, given that my expectations were high (not too high) as a result of listening to "The Cult is Alive". Most of the songs here to me simply come across as lazy and uninspired (by the way, I do know this style of music can be simplistic as well), and Fenriz's vocals for the most part are either ludicrous or monotonous. That said, the title track is a fun little track.

Great album, it always makes me want to headbang. The riffs and lyrics are the best thing on this album for me.

''This can be easily supporter by the fact that most of the music that Fenriz listens to these days is (said by himself) old thrash and heavy metal, mostly from the 70s and 80s.''

The lyrics on Raised on Rock really apply to this.

''Modern metal, I don't give a fuck, I was raised on rock!''

Excellent review.
