not close to rage. I think this was slightly ahead of its time for the nu metal scene they were grouped with.

I had heard that the Strait up compilation ws actually the music recordings for their second album. When Lynn was killed they had different singers take the helm on each song. Persoanlly, hearing the music(minus the vocals/lyrics) it wouldn't have even come close to this.

This came out when Bizkit's Three Dollar Bill Yall hit the biz. This one piss pounds the shit out of it. They just didn't have the same exposure until Ozzfest . Friends of mine were just as mesmerized by this when released. They were huge LB fans at the time but couldn't understand why this didn't get more praise.

I love this record.

I think Mikey explained in an interview that the second album was in pre production and most of the riffs on Strait Up wouldn't have made it. They had to move and mess with the riffs to fit the singer. Like the song with MCUD or Catch a Spirit. The only song that was completed was Choose What, which wasn't bad.

They completed two songs for the unfinished second album. The other was "Absent", which was on Strait Up.

Anyone who bases a song off of a failed movie with Nicholas Cage making a tit of himself in gets a thumbs up from me.
WELL VIVA FUCKIN' FRANCE, MAN!
