Indeed it is. I'm considering acquiring the t-shirt and cd combo from their myspace.

"The opening track, Center" Clouds is the opening track. This album is nowhere near a 9/10. It doesn't come close to Ruun or Isa. The Watcher is by far the best track, New Dawn, and Reflection are good and the rest is quite boring. Especially Ground and Center, nothing interesting at all in those songs.

I liked Ground. Center is fairly boring, but the last 2 minutes or so is pretty tight. New Dawn (fav song) and Reflection are awesome. Found Watcher pretty boring to tbh, though it makes for a good closer.

Completely disagree with you ominous inane 178%. This is better than RUUN, and much of Isa but all three albums are superb. Good to see you check this out atavanhalen.

Better then Ruun.... you must listen to them for different reasons then me because there's no way haha. You still didn't fix your mistake in the review though. In the second paragraph you say that Center is the opening track when it's Clouds.

I'll edit it out soon. I'm not really interested in which album is better than which. I do know that RUUN slays. Isa Slays. Vertebrae slays, Enslaved slays.

Wrong again, Verbebrae is quite far from a Slay.

I'm three tracks into this. It's really great so far. This is the sort of thing I look for in metal.

I actually think this is quite a bit better than the In Mourning record that came out earlier this year and which everyone's been lauding. i found that fairly boring. This is better.

how can you compare a melodic/prog death album to a prog black album?
and hell no In Mourning is definitely not boring.

Okay, maybe not boring. It was just okay. I think the big part was the almost complete lack of clean vocals. Which wouldn't have bothered me, except that the vocalist's clean voice was absolutely incredible, and the sections where he sang where the three best parts of the album, lol. The balance here is very, very desirable. Plus I'm loving the variety within the songs.

I think I'm going to have to check this out now. When I listened to the songs on myspace a while ago I thought they were pretty bad, but I just listened to Ground and it was fucking awesome.
