This is just a excellent album, possibly TVotR's best.
Also, I find the lyrics to be poignant, clear and honest. The two apparently bad excerpts from Crying I find quite good, touching on love, war, America, and never coming off as pandering.

Never heard Return to Cookie Mountain in full, but I liked the single that came off it. I was tempted to get this when I first heard about it and this review definitely convinced me.

I like this but not even close to as much as everyone else is seeming to. :upset:

An actual complaint (outside the boring factor) is how so many tracks are drawn out. They never seem to end. Outside "Wolf Like Me" I've never really dug these guys anyway.

That's one of the best songs on the album imo.

Yeah, they both would have been good. I'm also really keen to hear DLZ live. I can imagine it being something phenomenal.

This took a bit of adjusting to for me (it's the first TV on the Radio album I've heard), but it really does it for me now ;)

guess what? after like 15 listens this still isn't old. Finding the little intricacies within each song with each new listen is pretty awesome

I had actually never heard anything by this group until my friend brought over this album last week. I really need to go pick it up now as I loved it. I'm looking forward to checking out more of their work.
