I can't even remember what scene dlz is from. I forgot to check it out but found it again when looking up music used in breaking bad. I've only been watching it for a month and i'm already on series 5

Jesse's such a more likeable character than walter

that's the main premise of the entire show. walter's a monstrous psychopath by series five.

he's not really a psychopath, he's just really douchey

I kinda feel like his transition to 'evil' is awkward. Which is funny considering that was the whole reason vince gilligan created the programme

I watched four seasons of it in the space of a week, was bedridden with a bad case of glandular fever though, if that excuses me.

had to bring this down to a 4. still an awesome album but some of the songs start to lose their appeal pretty quickly imo

"I can't even remember what scene dlz is from. "
Remember the episode where Walt was going crazy about ROT? the end of that one, where he's leaving the hardware store and tells the junkies to "stay out of my territory". badass scene.

How so? And honestly I think Walter was always 'villainous' on the inside, he just bottled up his regrets and envies deep inside until it formed a different side of him. Then, throughout the series, that side of him only awoke during times of crisis, when he needed to do things that a normal person wouldnt have the stomach for. I honestly love the arc of Walter's character. It's very intriguing to see how desperation can change a person so quickly and drastically.

I can see the perspective. His personality's transition from season four to season five, in particular, is poorly paced i.e. not gradual enough, and comes off as somewhat gaudy as a result. Small niggle though, I personally feel the transformation is largely flawless.

Dunno, something about it just felt awkward. Like with that scene where he just loses it and gets his son really drunk. I didn't get what that was about. Didn't see why it was necessary.

Unlike Jesse, who starts out as a small time little punk but quickly gets out of his depth and with all his naivety coming out he becomes much more easy to sympathise with. Cos he was never a hardened crook.

I watched four seasons of it in the space of a week, was bedridden with a bad case of glandular fever though, if that excuses me.

I don't think I'd even be able to do this. I'm not ill often, only for about 2 or 3 days a year (just happened to be the past 2 days) but when I am I can't enjoy or stand anything. Hate music, hate TV, hate video games, hate browsing the internet, hate food, hate being awake, hate sleeping.
