Cheers tom thank the fucking lord that Fin's on there (I know you don't think so but)
Lots of good stuff on there but very surprised at the complete lack of Lowborn tunes and I was hoping for Miserabile Visu

crying to (*fin) rn

fin is a cracker tune no doubt man they did it well and fucked off after the climax rather than the three mins of w/e that follows it on the record which was swee
getaway plan opening would be swee for nostalgia but had to wait for me buddy to finish footy training so we missed em oh well
what day u seein em?

Wait they didn't play the "take what you will what you will and leeeeaave part"? That part is the best thing they ever wrote fuck me what a letdown

A book shouldn't end right after the climax, that would be awful storytelling to end right after the big battle. There needs to be
closure and that's what those last 3 minutes of fin bring.

How long did they play?

I don't think they ever sing the coda in fin. It's probably my favorite part but Stephen described it as a spontaneous, spiritual improv so I get that he can't really replicate it in real life without losing some authenticity

ec like 90-120 mins or so idk
21-22 songs but they rip thru em without much bullshit inbetween

honestly my favorite part of this whole album is how in The Resistance the number of notes after "you paper tigers" increases every time they play it

their cover of true faith is so god damn good
would be a top-2 song if it were on the album proper

Listening to Miserabile Visu is so much more powerful now, with the four blood moons this year it magnifies those exact lyrics and actually makes it seem like they were prophetic.
I'm not one of those doomsday people that thinks that the rise of ISIS and the spreading of EBOLA are the start of the apocalypse, but it's just kind of cool how the lyrics to this song match the current state of affairs in the world.

That sounds pretty good to me. I'm kind of hoping they are the only one playing when I go see them, so I'm not at the concert for a ridiculously long time. I have a 3 hour drive to and back from where I live.

Public transportation? A friend that is also going? Borrow a parent's car?
Yeah, I think mine is on a Tuesday, so that also kind of sucks. Oh, well, I am just gonna get some time off work, and probably the next day, too, just in case.
