Good review Willfellmarsy. Doesn't sound like something I would enjoy too much because I'm just bored with PTH. May check this out if I happen to stumple upon it.

at wiz-check this out...they really just sound like protest on a first listen but are quite different...though i like pth more, these guys stick with their ideas longer and flesh them out more than pth do, they also build and have mellow passages...still i could understand dislike
at insect-for the vocals alone you should check this out, i think you'd really like them musically anyway but vocally i thought they'd be a dream band for you
at natey-in the tush realm my girl owns urs...and the shortness my God is it hot in here? Still nastia is quite switched on as well...and glad you like the album
probably shoulda mention "dearest delia" more because it is a perfect acoustic/key-based interlude and how it leads in to "Dead girls don't smile" is magical

wow...just amazing
|

Imagine PTH that takes risks and doesn't have annoying screaming

eh, i don't know about that...i still like pth more, but i could see these fellas surpassing them...it's not that they take risks and pth doesn't, it's that they stick to their ideas and flesh them out while pth is all add...they have very different approaches to a similar style of music, thus why i love them both

What makes these guys so amazing is there ability to harmonize. Their singing is phenominal. And I dont really hear the protest influence much.
|
| |
This is really good, The PTH influence is only minimal (like they wouldn't be out of place on the same tour, but not much more
than that), but this is still very good and chaotic. I'm still getting used to the vocals, but I assumed I would. I'll rate after a few
more listens, but probably a 4.This Message Edited On 12.17.08

Nice review. This sounds pretty good with the PTH similarities and all that jazz. Will deifnitely check it out.

Yah so I checked the myspace stream and its pretty sweet. Can hear the PTH similarities, but not overly. Vocals are of a slightly different style, but overall it's good. This Message Edited On 12.18.08
