Not a very in-depth review seeing as the only real point you have is "all their stuff sounds the same", which could be argued about almost anything that isn't Opeth related ... though a majority of the community will probably agree with you anyway

(sarcasm for the slow ones)

that can't be argued about almost anything because there are too many bands with variation, and frankly after 4 albums of verrrrrry little evolution there's nothing else to say about this band except that they will remain stagnantThis Message Edited On 08.27.08

EDIT: ^ ^ ^From the sound of this, this review already is a tbt.

Man, who would've foreseen that the album would sound the same as their other stuff?

Enjoyable review.

I'd have to agree with pretty much every point you made, but not near to the extent of the negativity you express towards the album. Reasons to Live and Heroes of Our Time really are the only true great songs I must say.

Review lacked detail and qas quite inaccurate, IMO.

The keyboard solos were great, and it's the guitarists that try to make the Nintendo noises. The drums on this album were actually pretty good, and loads of people do care about them. Thirdly, you seemed to ignore the fact there is some (not much, but it's definitely there) diversity here, ie the slow middle/solo sections in half of the songs.
