I don't really get how such a review gives 1 star considering you didn't really say it was a terrible album. Personally i've always hated HH and couldn't care less that one of them has passed. People die, shit happens, welcome to life, get over it.
I might give this a listen though just to see if it is even possible that HH have gotten worse :/

Dave kinda reminds me of this one reviewer we have for our local paper that reviews up and coming plays. He seems to unanimously pan every play he sees save for a select few. Lately from what I've read of Dave's reviews, they all seem to be ones.
Not that they aren't warranted, just an observation. Hawthorne Heights really deserves anything more than a 1. They are probably one of the worst bands I've ever listened to. It's like they took everything bad about their respective scene and somehow broke it even more with terrible screams, even worse cleans, and boring songs.

This band is gawd awful. Haven't put out anything worth listening to during their tenure. I had the pleasure of talking for a few minutes with the head singer during their first tour with emery and discovered he is (was) a self-serving, elitist asshole that just wanted to push records and not connect with fans. Good riddance to these pricks.
