Well if that is the case, why do so few bands have that many fillers in 1 album?

That's the stupidest thing I've heard in a while.

"What other band do you know incorporates the Fibonacci sequence into one of their songs"

So because they did this they are pretentious?

Oh don't get me wrong they are pretentious, but I just didn't feel like that was a good reason to call them that imo

it's only pretentious outside of the music itself. how the fuck is the music pretentious?

It's pretentious because it comes off like they understand things nobody else does. I still think they're incredible, and I get their frustration in that most of the world is pretty blind.

Yeah, but everyone has different perspective and gifts; talking about it doesn't make you pretentious.

Talking about things we're not sure about is part of the charm of this album. There is an enigmatic and

esoteric mass that pulls your deeper. Sure, we should scrutinize the music for what it is, but this

album is more than that, it's about delving further and discovering the core of yourself.

I love the subject matter they talk about, that's not what makes them pretentious. What makes them pretentious is how they come off like everyone else is just a bunch of monkeys. In a way I kinda' agree, so I guess

I'm pretentious as well.

no I get what your saying, but their subject matter really isn't about knowing things that noone else does...like uranium said the album is about bettering yourself, the messages in the songs aren't too hard to grasp.
