SO is this worth listening to for Johnny Craig's vocals? I loved them in Dance Gavin Dance.

EDIT: meh. This turned out to be really average as was expected from reading the reviews and comments on here. 2.5 - 3 for me.

This is a really good album once you get into it. With the first few listens I couldn't really pick out any standout features, but after ignoring it for a few weeks and coming back to it, the briliance really began to come to the forefront.

took me a LOT of listening to get into this. I was disappointed at first but now I really enjoy this album.

okay, what's with the Circa Survive reference? Jonny sounds nothing like Anthony Green and the music is in the same genre. There are a lot of bands that play this way but these guys do it better. And those who say the old Emarosa is better, they were just another post-metalcore band with way too much synth before they changed musical direction with Jonny joining. I'd rather have them "copying" Circa Survive than The Devil Wears Prada.

they should copy neither, because both of those bands are really bad. This Message Edited On 10.13.08

This band got turned into a crappy knock off of Saosin IMO. They try to sound individual but it just ends up sounding boring.

I totally disagree, but nice review.

Craig is a complete douche bag. His vocal chords are the only redeeming quality about him.

Wait should a 5.6 be more rounded up to 6, which is a 3/5?

I love you Hanson but you suck at math

i agree that they are both really good vocalists, but they both have very different styles and sounds. i think blue sky noise is a much stronger album then the new emarosa album, but i still like jonny craigs voice more. i would say jonny craig is more RnB then blues.

So this is what wasted potential sounds like. This seemed like something I would really really dig but... every song sounds the same.
