I don't disagree with the most part of your review. Glam metal tried to kill heavy metal by selling out and trying to be totally mainstream. That was the reason why grunge emerged in the first place. The same thing happened to punk, when it became commercial. Mb, in a future review over a NWOBHM release, i will continue this analysis. So, back, to Leppard, i don't think that glam metal was really heavy metal, in any case. Nontheless 1/5, you were a bit harsh, the music itself is not so bad. Lyrics are kinda awful, Bon Jovi was 5 times better. I will vote for this, though i dont agree totally, because you are true and stated your opinion without trying to lick anybody's ears.
