I can say that this record still ain't lost its luster in the slightest. Tight melodies interspersed with that silvery groove, solid songcraft, and likable vocals (especially on Doug Pinnick's end).

"Classic albums don't lose their luster"

You know, it's statements like this that, for whatever reason, remind me of an intercourse session between the Megazord, Terry Crews, and a root beer bottle with Bruce Campbell's chin attached to it. The sex over at a poor man's Castle Grayskull has went on for 20+ years and - lo and behold - many say that it continues to this day; by many, I mean me, myself, and I after an incident with a cloning machine. The longevity is real. Sput quote in the making?

On a less fucked up note, Mission rules face. A lot of tracks on here do, but that's one of the highlights.

Out of the Silent Planet has got to be my favourite here, that intro and then the opening riff with THAT tone just sends chills down my spine

And the chorus with the Aaaaas in harmony, on top of the gorgeous guitar work are infectious

Ty is very underrated. Has some absolutely monster tones. As does Dug

Yeah that little two-note flourish that Ty adds in the second chorus just makes the song. Really clever and underrated guitarist, solo on Summerland is classic

Every solo is a classic. I spent my junior year of college doing nothing but trying to learn Ty solos and generally failing.
