i never once called the lyrics "Typical" love songs. but that doesn't mean they aren't love songs. they are song's about love and the lyrics are pure sh*t. i'm stickin with that. but besides all that, the music absolutely blew me away and i can see this quickly becoming a favorite of mine

It's not really heavier or darker like they said it would be and the violins do nothing but detract from the quality of any song in which they are present due to the fact that they sound as though they would be more appropriate on a folk metal album. Just compare the usage of the violin on the new album to "The Black Voyage" or "The Cry of Mankind" from The Angel And The Dark River and you'll see a huge difference.
For Lies I Sire may just be their second worst album behind 34.788%.This Message Edited On 02.23.09
