Willfellmarsy (or just Will? Sorry, I'm still in the process of living up to my username :o), you're probably right. The 3.5 was my attempt at being objective. I suppose it's because I think of it as an album that is brilliant only if you're in the right frame of mind (which I suppose would be either a very reflective one or philosophical extroversion - either way, a bit closer to your subconscious) - if you're not in the mood for it, it'll just piss you off. There have certainly been a couple of times when I've put it on and found it annoying. But I didn't say that much in the review, so good point, it does read more like a 4!
