I'd like to know what you thought of Iced Earth's Framing Armageddon. I kind of enjoyed it at first, but it get really old really fast. I really like Ripper though.
'Judas Rising' are outright classic. Not a fan of the album, but but I'll definitely agree with you here.
I'm the type of fan who thinks that 'Sin after Sin', 'Stained Class' and 'Painkiller' are the band's best and not 'British Steel', Definitely, sans Sin After Sin.This Message Edited On 06.18.08

I'm not going to lie I listened to this about 50 times every day and my AP Journalism teacher is a big Judas Priest fan and she plays it in class like everyday so I know what I'm talking about.
well done

I've spun it twice now. The first time I got bored and put on Public Enemy. the second time I got bored and put on Unleashed in the East. I think it grew slightly on the second listen, but sadly it grew from awful to mediocre.

I was personally bitterly dissapointed. After sitting and listening to this for half an hour I can honestly say I couldn't listen to it any longer! Atleast not for another day. I find this album rather tedious and not some of their finest work. I think "Nostradamus" Is the only relatively decent song between both CD'S. Wish I had kept my receipt now..

I almost fell asleep at the wheel. I count 3.5 good tracks in 2 hours. SO not worth it.

The lame in this forum astounds me. Anyone who thinks this album sucks should try listening to 99% of the rest of the crap that comes out every week and perhaps gain a more objective opinion.
I heard it for the first time today and quite liked it. It doesn't sound much like any of their other stuff, but since when is that a bad thing? As long as the music is still *good* none of that elitist crap should matter. I was truly haunted by the melodies on a couple of the tracks.
Judas Priest tries to evolve with the times instead of recycling the same sound over and over until it is stale, and that is why they will continue to be prolific and outlast a million other shit bands out there.

That last "post" was directed at 'Reflectedchaos', but as i see here, you guys add
nothing, but, thank you. Now, back to your Springsteen (*yikes*, and, your "36% hip-
hop").
That is a low blow, there is plenty of hip-hop good, and there is even more hip hop that owns this.

This site suffers from the same cancer as imdb. Less fans wanting to talk to other fans and offer their knowledgeable opinions, more people with too much free time wanting to bash things they know little about in the first place. Why someone who disliked the album so much would even take the time to review it (for free no less), or even comment on it, is beyond me.
The 'diversity' card is a very poor excuse for having bad taste. There is good and bad in *every* genre.

How did this get so many views? Did mike really just refresh the page 300000 times? That is ridiculous.

SHOOTME, was it really necessary to dignify that with a response? It's obviously stupid and he obviously is just mad someone would say something other than complete adoration for the Metal Gods.
Also, it's obvious he's never seen Springsteen or heard anything besides "Born in the USA", which he probably thinks is a blankly patriotic song. :p

Good point, oh well.
Rakim is way harder than 2/3 of Judas Preists discography. He totally thrashes.
Anyways, boring album, nice review

I need more popcorn, this is hilarous.
Ya, you can totally give Black Sabbath, Judas Preist, and Led Zeppelin albums all 5s, just because their the most influential bands ever, and because they were br00tal before anyone else. NOT.
Mike pretty much says that the songs all sound the same, and the songs are united in their boringness, that his opinion. Fuck off unless you want to write a conter review.
and Rakim, Nas, Jay-z, Biggie and Kanye West (before Graduation), and many more rappers own Judas Preist anyday of the week.
