Some of the songs are awesome. Persecution, Nostradamus and Future of Mankind (I especially enjoy the ending riff of this one) are really good. Probably because they have an older feel reminding of their previous work.

Considering the change in style, they managed to make something consistent with this album, albeit a bit repetitive, but very ambient and truly epic.

I must be on a different planet, I loved this album...I have notice a lot of people in this forum that like to bitch about shit and go OUT of their way to give bad reviews

Long, a bit samey, a bit cheddar, but I'd say it's a better listen front to back than Redeemer.

"We've done [2008's] Nostradamus, which was like, two weeks long, was it? (Laughs) But I still think it's the most fabulous piece of work we've ever done, personally, because I'm the flamboyant one. I love the drama and the journey and the big movie vibe it projects."

Rob could say the best new metal band is Black Veil Brides for their deep lyrics and I'd be like "for sure, whatever you say, your godliness" lol

Obviously the reviewer knows little about classic metal... Most of the bands he surely listens to today were influenced by pillar works such as Sad Wings of Destiny, Sin After Sin, Stained Class and Painkiller...

I hate this type of reviews where some kid just thrashes a good band over a bad album just so they can look cool and/or controversial...
