I think Kidcrash's Jokes was the most accessible emo record I've ever heard, but this comes pretty close. I liked it pretty instantly.

in my early music listening days of like green day and the offspring and such stuff had to grow on me, but since really getting into music and becoming more knowledgeable of and comfortable with my tastes it hasn't happened except every once in a while i'll listen to an album and not think much of it but find myself listening to it regularly until i finally realize it has grown into something special

usually it takes a while for post rock and screamo to simmer, if I don't like something else on the first few listens I'll rarely pursue it.
