Man, how can you guys like Trivium? They sound like every other band and all those other bands suck too. I just can't see how people can like this crappy new "metalcore" genre or whatever. It just sucks IMO.

I know it isn't a new genre. I just liked the album a lot..

I really enjoy this album also. I hope they can build off what they did well on this, soloing, clear vocals, all around good sound of most songs. I hope they can take the things they did right and work with those towards a better sound follow up album, instead of making the mistake so many bands do and try to make another of this album.

I don't believe anyone that says netspeak is easier than proper spelling and punctuation. Seems it would just be more work to misspell words and use a bunch of numbers.

good review, i only like the parts where the vocalist sings. That's why like Dying in your arms most but the other songs are also good.

i cant believe how many people are giving trivium good reviews.

their entire albums are ruined by the fact that matt cant sing and that his screaming and roaring stuff gets old, very fast cus u cant really vary screaming.

the instrumentals infact are good, especially my favourite for this band, the drums. but overall there is too much bad points. also, at download 2005, matt tripped over a wire while playing the pull harder solo :D

These guys won't really be groundbreaking until they actuall break ground and play something that hundreds of bands haven't done before them. Calling them Metallica is ridiculous.

Yeah, it does explain something, but I dislike Trivium. And you can vary screaming, you ignorant uncle fucking prick. There are screamers and growlers that have an amazing vocal range. Look harder.
