Instead of two albums they should've released one Use Your Illusion with a tracklist like:

1. Live and Let Die

2. Estranged

3. Knockin' On Heaven's Door

4. Locomotive

5. Don't Cry

6. Coma

7. November Rain

insta 5 right there

Live and Let Die is a way better opener for me

You Could Be Mine, Yesterdays, Bad Obsession and Don't Damn Me also belong on that list methinks.

You Could Be Mine and Yesterdays definitely, Bad Obsession maybe but Don't Damn Me is kind of annoying for me. Dust N' Bones, Back Off Bitch, Double Talkin' Jive and Breakdown do a lot better for me.

Are you kidding? I would omit it if Illusions was only 1 record along with Knockin On Heaven's Door (even though it's a great cover)

And i agree Sitaar, great tunes for sure. I also enjoy Back Off Bitch and Dust N Bones too.

"My World" was the only song I liked from this initially because of how fucking weird it is. It was also the first time I'd ever heard the term 'skullfuck' and 'mindfucked'.

Don't Damn Me will always be one of my favorites. Both Use Your Illusion records are fantanstic, I see no reason to condense the tracklist.

Dont Damn Me is a great tune indeed.

I could subjectively cut down each album to 50+ minutes or so where they'd be 5's.

UYI I has quite a bit of filler in the last section, but UYI II is pretty consistent overall.

Don't Damn Me and Coma though

I prefer I over II but it wasn't always like that

II feels a bit more consistent to me as well. But Dust N' Bones is easily one of my favorite GNR songs.

Izzy Stradlin delivering the goods, as usual for him, such a classy, humble and down to earth guy. I also consider Perfect Crime from UYI 1 an underrated track among fans.

Agreed Dan. I just love how these guys released two albums on the same day. They must have felt on top of the world during their heyday.

i stand corrected, thought they were a week apart but now that I realize, i remember buying II instead of I because i only had enough money for one of them haha

Sniff, ego, pantomime taking itself seriously and bullshit.

It says nothing to me about my life.

I love both I and II, but II gets the slight edge over I for me
