They're both on a par with each other, I'd say. I miss George

The second disc isn't very good.

I don't like this CD. There's too much filler. Abbey Road was a much better CD.

Great album. I wouldn't say it's their best - Revolver and Abbey Road are more consistantly brilliant - but I'd put it above Sgt. Peppers. "Savoy Truffle" and "Piggies" are the only tracks I don't really care for. I like "Wild Honey Pie"...I prefer the Pixies version (ha, I know. blasphemy), but it's still a fun little song.
"Yer Blues," "Happiness Is a Warm Gun," and "Bungalow Bill" are my current favorites, but then again, that changes every time I listen to the album.

Happiness is a Warm Gun, Rocky Racoon, and Mother Nature's Son are the only tracks that I know I will like upon listening. One day I love [insert track] the next I hate it.

Got the White Album out from my local library and istened to the whole album end to end the other night. I'd always heard so much about it. I'd say it was more interesting than enjoyable. Blackbird, Revolution #1, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Savoy Truffle, Dear Prudence, Obladi-Oblada and Rocky Raccoon were my favourite tracks.

Revolution 9 is unbelievable, along with the rest of the album.
|
| |
Out of curiosity why is this no longer the White Album?

revolution 9 is freaky. Not sure if anyone knows this but if you play the first minute or so when the line "number 9" is repeated backwards, you get "turn me on dead man"... weird.

Yeah, I've heard that and it just adds to the proof that Paul's DEAD!!

Hah! it would be pretty damn weird if it were true, but I don't buy into that. There's so many small things to pick up on though. Even at the end of "Strawberry Fields" you can hear Lenon saying "I buried Paul".

It really does, i've read so much about it already. For a while I didn't really know what to believe. A small part of me wishes he really is dead (I know that sounds bad), but it would make for a great story if it was ever proven. In the end though, I think it's just the Beatles screwing around just because they can.

I disagree with a rating any less than "classic" because of the impact this album had on everything it touched.
Just me.

my friend made me listen to this album, ughhhh this thing is an EPIC FAIL! The Beatles are overated trash, idc if they are the pioneers of modern music, they are really really boring.....
Although I do recognize that the Beatles we creative in their day, this album just doesnt hold a candle to modern music....

One of my favourite albums ever. Every song except for piggies is great.

piggies is awesome as well. It's kinda like an ironical version of unfunny in-your-face irony.
