The title track on this is officially one of the most evil sounding songs i've ever heard. So awesome.
|
| |
Yeah the title track is fucking incredible, and the lyrics are amazingly angry...like a dead horse coming back to life just to slay his old master.

That is a great way of describing it. It's probably my favorite song on here next to Eagles Become Vultures. I'm considering bumping this to a 4.5, it's such a great album.

This is the second Converge album I have heard, the first being Axe to Fall...and it's quite a surprise considering they're both very different.

Yeah, this and No Heroes are tied for my favorite Converge album as of right now. I heard Jane Doe first then Axe to Fall and I really like them both, but there is something that I enjoy about You Fail Me and No Heroes a bit more.
|
| |
No Heroes is next, then Jane Doe, then everything else.
The band is just as intense as taking an asshole shredding shit.
Sounds gross, but true.

They are very intense. One of the most if not THE most intense band i've ever heard. I'm happy I discovered how good their music is, cause these guys easily blow a lot of bands out of the water in terms of how heavy and good they are.
|
| |
Yeah, they're very loose as well...not like a lot of the tech bands where it's just a bunch of fucking machines playing tight as hell

that dillinger escape plan reference seemed oddly placed in this review to me
