bump

the more I listen to this CD the more I love it. Besides the random lyrics at times, there are some brilliant tracks.

Personally love: Arcarsenal, Pattern Against User, Invalid Litter Dept., Rolodex Propaganda, and Cosmonaut.

I am going to have to agree with
Eliminator Jr. I like the album, but I don't consider it a classic. I just think they get more credit than they deserve sometimes.

at first, the vocals really pissed me off...then after a few more listens, the album "sang" to me. Now, I love this album

Good album, only got it a week ago so its still growing on me. At the moment I'm liking Mars Volta more than ATD-I

This album (well, band really) pretty much changed my life. ATDI is such a huge influence in my guitar playing and songwriting, it ain't even funny.

This album changed my life. I'm in no way kidding. I first heard One Armed Scissor in eigth grade. I'm now a freshman in college, and atdi is still my favorite band. I judge all bands I hear by how they measure up to At the Drive-In.

After 5 years of owning this album, it STILL gets regular rotation. That's saying a whole lot for me because my musical attention span is nothing short of miniscule. The first time I heard One Arm Scissor I was hooked. This was unlike anything my 18 year old ears had heard.
Invalid Litter Dept. is one of the greatest songs (IMHO) of all time!
Other faves are One Arm Scissor, Arcarsenal, and Cosmonaut.
In terms of creativity and overall musical talent, this is at the top of the list for todays artists. Very enthusiastic 5/5!!

The truest thing i ever heard was that ATDI takes some time to get used to. I first heard them 4 years ago in my brothers room. I was listening to Invaild litter dept. and i thought it was drug on for too long. Knowing that i didnt like, my brother forced my to listen to that song over and over and over again. I evently fell in love with it.

This Album while it is really good isnt a classic and I dont know if it is one of the 100 best of the last 20 years like Spin says. Enfilade and Invalid Litter Dept. are my favorites. Whats up with Mother leapord though (in the start of Enfilade)

I. Love. This. Album.

Along with Shape Of Punk To Come, The Illusion Of Safety, No Control, The Fall Of Troy, and In Utero, this is one of the most influential albums I've ever owned, even if ATDI ripped off Drive Like Jehu and Cedric's lyrics were mostly stream-of-consciousness tard-babble. But they were the best rip-off to come along since Nirvana, Omar is the greatest guitarist of the last ten years, "Arcarsenal", "Cosmonaut", "Pattern Against User", "Invalid Litter Dept.", and especially "Enfilade" pwns you all, and ATDI had more energy and passion than ANY band out now (although TFOT seem to be the heir to the throne, IMO).

F*cking classic, genre-defining, and better than 95% of post-hardcore. 5/5

i dont get this. on one armed scissor cedric sounds very tuneful and more so then he ever did really. his daring to try higher vocals in a more hardcore sounding band was quite good if you ask me.
