i equally love this band and GY!BE, but in completely different ways. listening to GY!BE is a transcending experience, and i wouldn't be surprised if i found out that they're deities or aliens or something. whereas Mogwai's music is definitely 'human', but that's also a big reason why it's so appealing, especially considering how unbelievable their best moments are.
