That is your standard reply to people insulting bands you like, isn't it? :p[/QUOTE]
Pretty much. Quick and mindless, yet effective.

nice review..
good album..
but full collapse was better..

I bought this album before I bought Full Collapse and I think I must agree with the current verdict that it is better than War All the time. I still really like both albums though and I think there is really nice music on both.

I can't really get into thursday. I agree with evilfrosty2001, the vocalist is terrible. He needs to develope some sort of melody. He's never really on the same page as the other guys. He just sounds like he wants to sing when he wants to and sometimes he screams. I think this is a bad album: 1/5

I think his vocals are amazing, he can hit high notes very well and his singing style is
very original. If you look at the lyrics and then realize how hard it is to actually fit those
to a constant melody you will realize that he does a very good job of it.
Besides, catchy songs die fast and thursday is definatly not catchy, that is the reason
why I never really tire of listening to their music. There is always something new that
you didn't catch no matter how many times you listen to it.This Message Edited On 05.23.05

This album is ok, but I liked 'Full Collapse' overall better. Still, some nice one's here: For the workforce drowning, Division St. or Tomorrow I'll be you are the highlights for me on this one.
3.5/5 from me

For the workforce, drowning and division street are easily the best tracks on the album.

This album is one of my favourite ever

This is an awesome album. Many of their best songs, like signals, are from this album. But number one song is jet black new year

I really liked this album back in the day, I don't listen to Thursday very much anymore, though that might change when the new album comes out. I don't think any less of it though, I really like the way these guys work together musically.

Vheissu, you nailed it. Division St., For the Workforce, and Falling Bomb were the best songs on here. It seems like they subtracted emotion from their lyrics and tried to give more of a political statement on this album. At least they dont try as hard as Brandon Boyd to be witty. Still, I love the music. Not overly complex, but I can still hear something different every time i listen to this. Overall, if you're a fan of this genre, or are looking to get into Thursday, pick up Full Collapse first, and WATT second. Their first album, Waiting, is pretty raw, but excellent as well.
WATT=3.75/5

this album is absolute amazing showing this bands progress in my opinion to a greater, more powerful dynamic sound.

I've never really liked Thursday that much. The first song I tried listening to [War All the Time] turned me off from the intro, and I didn't like the vocals too much.
Yesterday, I decided to give them another go, and downloaded a few songs by their rating from this review. My opinion on them is much different now. I rather like them a lot.
Great album, pretty cool band.

Yeah, it takes time to get used to his voice. At first I was like 'this guy's voice sucks' but when you keep listening to it, you realise he's got a really good voice. I got this one before Full Collapse, so I find it hard to make a definitive favourite between them. FC probably wins by a hair. Both definitely beat Waiting.

i heard waiting was pretty hard though, but dont quote me on that
