ehhh I used to hate a lot stuff due to negative assosiation as well but I got over it once I just made peace with the memories attatched to the music and it stopped mattering to me.

I've been revisiting a lot of stuff I was really into years back and was into during hard times for me, and suprisingly found most of it really good still so you'll probably get over it eventually and be able to look at this shit more """""objectively""""" later on

no offense but i would be uh. very very surprised if i actually enjoyed them if i went back and listened to them now. i mean the few bands i listed that i still dig i enjoy cause they actually have a lot of musicianship and they do a lot of cool things with structure and composition and other gay shit like that which is sort of the opposite of what most screamo (especially old screamo) is about
