You probably won't 5 it on the first listen, but there's no way you could give this anything lower than a 3.

First BOC song I heard was zoetrope hilariously enough.. Then I started here and went forward.. For me their proper Lps
ranked are:

Music has the right
Tomorrow's harvest
Geogaddi
Campire

Nothing is below a 4.5

I popped my BoC cherry to Music is Math, or maybe it was Everything You Do Is A Balloon. I don't remember.

Idk man that's better than what I'm listening to right now or what I remember from Tomorrow's Harvest but I doubt I'd fall in love anytime soon.

Aquarius yo. my first version of this the track were all out of order and that was first. that's why i gave it a 2.5, it just sounded messy an incoherent

fell in love with it months after that when i got the real track listing, though

if you go into an album expecting to not like it you wont like it

if you go into an album expecting to like it you will like it

this is especially true with boards of canada because the musics purpose is for you to project yourself into it

whether you like it or not is completely dependent on your state of mind

@Stallion: I'm pretty sure Music is Math was first for me, and after I heard the synth in the opening I knew it was going to be something special. Balloon was the 2nd one I heard and it pretty much cemented that thought :P
